Located on Sydney's picturesque harbour at Circular Quay, The Museum of Contemporary Art -- or MCA as it is also known -- is "Australia's only museum dedicated to exhibiting, interpreting and collecting contemporary art from across Australia and around the world."

Apart from regular exhibitions the MCA also has a cafe/restaurant, function spaces and the MCA store containing art books and much more.

    I visited to see the Annie Leibovitz exhibition here. I didn't have much time so I only saw the e... More I visited to see the Annie Leibovitz exhibition here. I didn't have much time so I only saw the exhibition not the rest of the museum.

    It is a really lovely place to visit if you've an hour or two to spare. There is also the opportunity to grab a quick coffee or a bite to eat at the cafe inside.

    The staff were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my visit and will be back to visit the remainder of the pieces soon.

    I've been here to a few exhibitions over the past year and love the sort of stuff they have on. A... More I've been here to a few exhibitions over the past year and love the sort of stuff they have on. A bit more fun and engaging than traditional art. It's also in an ideal location at Circular Quay, haven't given the cafe/restaurant a try yet but it looks great.
